Meet Our Clergy

The Reverend E. Wendy Huber
Priest, Pastor and Sheepdog
revwend@gmail.com
Wendy was called to serve as St. Peter’s of the Valley’s priest-in-charge, on January 1, 2020 and was joyfully called as our rector during the summer of 2021. She was ordained to the priesthood in 2012 in the Diocese of Texas and has served small family-sized churches since 2010. Most recently she served a three-church partnership in the Roaring Fork Valley. Her call to full-time ministry was preceded by a successful career as a private consultant, trainer, mediator, facilitator, and professor in negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution among other subjects. Wendy loves trout fishing, skiing, laughter, knitting, cooking, creativity and spirituality, reading, gardening and spending time with her immediate family who all live in Colorado. She tells people she is spiritual AND religious and believes church is a hospital for sinners, not a club for saints.
